Outdoor Growers’ Market
May 1, 8, 15, 22 & 29, 2010
4th and F St. 
A favorite with residents and tourists, the Growers’ Market is second only to the Rogue River as an area attraction. It showcases the finest fresh fruits and vegetables growing in the Southern Oregon region, as well as secondary wood products, gourmet specialty foods, artists and crafters. Members attend from Medford, Butte Falls, Winston, Canyonville, Gold Hill, Roseburg and the Illinois Valley.

Saturday Artisan & Crafters Market

Now in its forth year, the Saturday Artisans' and Crafters' Market is proving a phenomenal success, not only in terms of connecting local artists and craftsmen with admirers (and perhaps even acquirers) of their works and wares, but also in attracting the more creative members of our community and connecting them with one another, inspiring and challenging them to new artistic heights. It is through this interchange of energy and ideas that an art community is born and a regional arts movement is propelled to the global cultural forefront. Plant & Garden Craft Sale

Grants Pass Garden Club's annual Plant and Garden Craft Sale will be held on Saturday, May 1st from 9:00 am to 4:00 am. at Abby's parking lot on Williams Highway, near the Goodwill truck. Featuring unique plants dug from member's own gardens and one-of-a-kind garden crafts created by GPGC members. All You Can Eat Pancake Breakfast and Yard Sale
Hosted by the Rogue Valley Young Marines

This is the 6th annual pancake breakfast and new this year will be a chili cook off. Held at the Young Marine Headquarters which was previously the Merlin Elementary School. Tickets can be purchased at the door. Menu consists of pancakes, sausage, or biscuits & gravy and beverage. Spring Wine Stroll

Grants Pass MS (Multiple Sclerosis) Awareness Day
Date: May 15, 2010  10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
The first annual Grants Pass MS (Multiple Sclerosis) Awareness Day is scheduled for Saturday, May 15, 2010, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m..

Watch for bright orange balloons throughout downtown, at the Growers’ Market, the Grants Pass Shopping Center and at Club NW! Volunteers will be at information tables ready to answer questions and provide additional facts about Multiple Sclerosis.

The goal is to bring awareness to the community about this debilitating disease that affects over 7000 people in Oregon and 2.5 million people worldwide.

Buck Canyon Gardens Peony Show

The Women’s Crisis Support Team, Hope Float Benefit

Boatnik Festival

Carnival rides, boat races, games, a parade and food booths. Held as a fundraiser by the Grants Pass Active Club proceeds benefit the entire community. A Salute To Our Heroes
The Healing Field of Southern Oregon

These flags will be dedicated to those who have served, and to those who have given their lives to preserve our freedom. We must always remember our POW/MIA's that are still missing. While visiting the field of flags, you may dedicate a flag to a veteran of your choice for $30.A scholarship fund is being established to provide assistance for the children of our fallen and wounded warriors who have served during the conflicts in the Middle East.
